Spare Time Publishing only accept submissions for original works in digital form. We "WE DO NOT" accept paper manuscripts under any circumstances. We do no monitor manuscripts for plagiarism. If you plagiarize someone else's work, completely or partially in any form, either by accident on purpose, and all legal action that is generated for your actions is your responsibility ~ period!
We publish both fiction and non-fiction titles, so our submission guidelines are broken down separately below for your guidence:
Spare Time Publishing publishes nonfiction books in all major markets if they meet the following guidelines:
You must possess expert knowledge in the area your manuscript covers and an ability to share it intelligently.
A manuscript needs to solve a problem, illustrate proven solutions, and or offer unique and or fresh insights.
You may make submissions whether you have a literary agents or not.
If you do not have a literary agent, Spare Time Publishing will be become your literary agent.
From time to time exceptions have been made when a unique book containing fewer than 10,000 words shows valuable content. To submit your nonfiction manuscript CLICK HERE, fill out the form and add your manuscript as an attachment.
Spare Time Publishing accepts fiction manuscripts in all genres if they meet the following guidelines:
You must submit a full-length novel of no less than forty thousand (40,000) words minimum.
Typical documents that are forty thousand (40,000) words include novels, novellas, and manuscripts.
Your story must be original. We do not accept fan-fiction submissions.
We accept submissions from authors with or without literary agents.
Please do your best to edit your manuscript before you submit it for review. If we find countless typos, silly mistakes, or actual holes anywhere in your manuscript, your chances of getting a book deal will be very low. Yes, we do offer "FREE PUBLISHING", however, that does not mean that we will publish your manuscripts and finish writting them for you. Do your job as a writer and present us with the best works possible. The submissions that are most likely to be accepted for a publishing deal are those that show a true effort and are well-edited.
Your manuscript should be written using the most recent version of Microsoft that you can aquire. Older versions will work, however, if too old, your submission will be rejected until the problem is corrected. Your manuscript should be formatted as per the instructions dictated HERE.
If you have written more than one manuscript, please submit only one (1) manuscript as your first submission. Make it the one you’re the most excited about. Don't forget to mention it on the submission form if you have written multiple books. However, only one submission at a time please.
Should Spare Time Publishing decide to publish your manuscript, we can start a conversation with you about publishing other books you’ve written. We do not guarantee that we will publish a manuscript if we feel that it is not a good fit for us. If that is the case, please do not fail to send us other submissions.

Portraying child abuse, or minors in sexual situations ~ Any manuscript that portrays or puts a child into a position of or is being abused
Manuscripts of a sexual nature needs to portray individuals as being 18 years of age or older.
Manuscripts that could possibly lead to lawsuits against you, the author.
